Burning in Sierra's pocket is a new letter from Paul, who is studying in Scotland. All Sierra wants to do is have time to bask in each word he's written to her not to mention time to gaze at the photo he sent of himself. But it's Thanksgiving and her house is overflowing with relatives. So much food to prepare, so many cousins underfoot, and so little privacy!
To escape from it all, Sierra becomes busy plotting ideas for gifts for Paul's birthday and Christmas. Then there's his request for a photo of her somehow she needs to carve out time to have a spectacular picture of herself taken.
But while she's keeping herself so wrapped up in Paul, Sierra begins to hear a small voice of doubt. Is it okay with God for her to ignore her family and friends and pour all her energy into this long-distance relationship? Is her relationship with Paul as picture perfect as she thinks?
